This 18-karat gold handmade band features a striking reticulated texture, created through an intricate and specialized process. The ring was repeatedly heated—approximately 22 to 23 times—to develop surface oxides, which were meticulously removed with acid after each cycle. During the final heating, an intense flame caused the underlying gold to partially melt, and as it cooled, it formed the beautifully organic, wrinkled texture you see here.
At its center, the band showcases a 2/3-carat round diamond, set in a tapered 18-karat white gold bezel that subtly enhances its brilliance.
Part of the Legacy Collection, this piece was my design but brought to life with the exceptional craftsmanship of DeAnne Hamilton, a talented goldsmith who worked alongside me in my store. Her skill and dedication were invaluable in realizing this creation
Lunar Pearl

This celestial statement ring cradles a large luminous Tahitian black pearl, its deep, iridescent glow imbued with the serenity and power below the oceans waves. sculptural, sweeping 18k prongs extend upward like elongated petals, elegantly curving to secure the gem. Each prong is accented with delicate rose gold inlays and crowned with bead-like appliqués to reinforce their placement together.
I sourced this incredible pearl from 11 mm Tahitian Pearl from a wonderful woman who was representing her cousin, the founder of a newly established artisanal pearl farming venture on a secluded island near Tahiti.

Like the last light of the sun shimmering over shifting sands, flowing asymmetrical ring was inspired by the last blush of sunset shimmering over shifting sands. One of the early experiments in gold alloys and textures, the organic rippling texture was fashioned in 14k gold. It has a milder reticulated pattern on the side, and 9 bright pink sapphires flow along the contrasting highly polished area. An eye catching piece that captures the ephemeral beauty of a sunset.

Cast and assembled in 14K gold, golden rays hold a vivid ruby cabochon. Ancient references mingle with the aesthetics of the art deco revival across the 80s and early 90s, a take on the winged circle and the penumbra of a partial eclipse, where shadow and light converge.

This handcrafted gold ring showcases a strikingly high-domed rubellite tourmaline cabochon, distinguished by its rich color and ability to capture sunlight and appear to glow from within.
Inspired by treasures of antiquity, the gemstone is set in a sleek, flat gold band. The glass bead finish of the band is accented with six “large”, rounded gold granules for added dimension.
This design evokes the grandeur of ancient signet rings—artifacts of emperors and alchemists—while its cosmic curves nod to the sleek futurism of the space age.
